Lecture Introduction
At present, life science research is gradually moving towards high-throughput and refined directions, and large-scale scientific research technology platforms have become a key foundation to support cutting-edge scientific exploration. Technologies such as whole-slide scanning, bacterial colony detection and sorting, and mass spectrometry analysis are increasingly used in the fields of pathological research, microecological research, and omics research. Being familiar with and mastering the working principles, practical methods and scientific research application scenarios of the above-mentioned technology platforms is an important foundation for scientific researchers to produce high-quality scientific research results.
In order to promote exchanges among scientific researchers in the field, three technical experts from the industry were specially invited to hold an academic salon focusing on three major topics: scientific research applications of whole-slide scanning systems, scientific research applications of anaerobic workstations and high-precision bacterial colony detection and sorting systems, and cutting-edge advances in high-throughput mass spectrometry technology. They shared the core features, typical application cases, and latest technological developments of each technology platform, and conducted on-site exchanges and discussions on various problems encountered during scientific research operations.

Genetically modified animal models and long-read sequencing are two core tools in current life science research. Genetically modified mice can provide an in vivo research system for analyzing gene functions and constructing human disease models, and are widely used in the field of neuroscience. ; Long-read third-generation sequencing relies on the advantages of ultra-long reads and has unique advantages in research directions such as genome assembly, structural variation identification, and full-length transcript analysis. Mastering the basic principles and application strategies of the two types of technologies is of great value to promoting related scientific research work.
In order to promote academic exchanges among researchers in the field, two industry technical experts were specially invited to hold an academic salon focusing on commonly used genetically modified mouse models in neuroscience research, long-read sequencing principles and cutting-edge applications. They shared ideas and practical cases for constructing genetically modified animal models, technical characteristics of long-read sequencing platforms and the latest research progress, and conducted discussions and exchanges around difficult issues in scientific research practice.
