On July 31, 2026, the finals of the second "Yuchuang Spark" Chongqing Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Competition in the "Biomedicine" field ended in Yuzhong District. The "Atmospheric Low Temperature Plasma Treatment of Brain Tumors" project incubated by Professor Yao Chenguo of Jinfeng Laboratory stood out from more than 140 cutting-edge projects and won the second prize in the science and technology innovation enterprise group with the world's first non-invasive precision anti-cancer technology.
Malignant glioma is a recognized pain point in diagnosis and treatment in the field of neuro-oncology. Traditional treatment methods are difficult to achieve "zero damage" to normal brain tissue. The scientific research team of Jinfeng Laboratory rose to the challenge and created the first low-temperature plasma non-invasive treatment technology of "transnasal delivery into the brain and cerebrospinal fluid pathway". It accurately kills tumor cells by releasing reactive nitrogen and reactive oxygen species (RONS), improves the microenvironment, and achieves "zero damage" to normal brain tissue, providing a new strategy for the treatment of glioma.
The project team is led by Professor Yao Chenguo, who has been deeply involved in bioelectromagnetic medicine for 20 years and has obtained multiple Class III registration certificates for innovative medical devices and the world's first certificate.； Founder and CEO Dr. He Yun has led the team to complete animal experiments and prototype development, and has initiated clinical research in relevant hospitals in Xi'an. It is expected to be certified and launched in 2028.
