on january 10, 2025, the laboratory held a 2024 work summary meeting. bian xiuwu, academician of the chinese academy of sciences and director of the laboratory, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. xu hui, deputy director in charge of the laboratory's executive work, made a 2024 work report. li tian'an, secretary of the party committee, read out the "jinfeng laboratory's decision to commend advanced collectives and individuals in 2024" . the meeting awarded honorary certificates to advanced collectives and advanced individuals, and four representatives of advanced collectives and advanced individuals made exchanges and speeches. tang anming, deputy director of the laboratory, cui youhong, assistant director, representatives of pi and scientific researchers, representatives of technical platforms, secondary legal persons and all employees of functional departments attended the meeting. the meeting was chaired by yang ligong, deputy secretary of the party committee.

the meeting pointed out that in the past year, under the great attention and correct leadership of the municipal party committee and municipal government, and with the strong support of various governing units and all walks of life, the laboratory construction and development has achieved remarkable results. the meeting pointed out that after taking stock of the situation, all employees in the laboratory worked together and delivered a satisfactory answer. all colleagues insist on being responsible to the board of directors, to the long-term development of the laboratory, and to the growth and success of employees. the work of each department is remarkable. everyone has devoted their wisdom, effort, and sweat to enhance the laboratory's in-depth development of accurate diagnosis. confidence in technological innovation and the confidence to lead the development of new quality productivity in life and health. the meeting pointed out that looking up and looking forward, a clear blueprint has been drawn. during the new year, the laboratory formed a systematic top-level design of "five ones", namely: a development goal - "international pathological science research center", a core mission - "next generation diagnosis of major diseases", and a scientific plan - "pathological phenotypic science project", a set of core technologies - " "cross-scale multimodal disease imaging technology" and a class of landmark achievements - "new technology and new system for disease diagnosis and classification" follow the development laws of scientific and technological innovation and comply with the trends of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, which are conducive to the laboratory's success in segmented tracks. we will work hard to seize the commanding heights of precision diagnostic technology innovation. the meeting also pointed out that by working hard, everyone has opened a prelude to innovation. to implement the established requirements of "laying a foundation in three years, achieving results in five years, and building a brand in ten years", the laboratory needs to continue to adhere to the "two-wheel drive" of scientific and technological innovation and institutional innovation, and make great efforts in innovation. innovation must be reflected first in competition. take one step at a time, insist on being high and strict in daily life, and pursue practical results in technological innovation and operation management.
